I installed SQL 2000 sp2 on a Windows 2000 server and now my Access to SQL
replication no longer works. I started out getting an error "operation not
supported on replicable databases that have not been converted to the
current version" when trying to perform a push. I installed the
Jet40sp3_comp.exe, and now I'm getting the error "process could not
initialize 'MSjet' on the SQL agent.
There HAS to be a way around this, but I haven't been able to figure it out
in 2 days. I've run the MDAC ComponentChecker and there was a version
conflict with msjtes40.dll. After correcting this version conflict, I
still get the same error "process could not initialize 'MSjet'".
If I try to change jet replication dll's on the 2000 server, the operating
system automatically sets them back to the version before I tried the
change.
Please HELP!!!

Hello.
One possibility is the MDAC version. Make sure that the Access host computer is running the same MDAC as the SQL server (MDAC 2.6 or 2.7)
