I'm looking for a way to analyze the 100 or so tasks we have scheduled to run daily/weekly in our environment. The jobs were all created by different people at different times with different functions. I know that our distribution of sql jobs in not optimized. We have many big jobs being run at the same time and it really affects the performace of the SQL Server (usually overnight)
Is there a tool available that would allow me to visually review the scheduled tasks and when they are configured to start? This would allow me to start spreading them out more efficiently.
Thanks,
ck

There are a couple. One I wrote and sell commerically unfortunately doesn't play well with Vista or Windows 7 (yet). But it allows you to view the history of the jobs on what looks like an Outlook calendar, you can see overlaps and all.
I'll get back to you.
