I need to find some sort SQL Server stress test tool to test performance on Inserts, Updates, Deletes possibly on simulating multiple users connecting. I had one at one time at an old company but can't remember what it was or if it's still relevant now. What are admins using nowadays? I found a 3rd party tool called SQLStress but it looks kinda dated.
Thanks

Also, look for Dell's DVDStore tool. It can be a bit fiddly to set up but I found it good to simulate different workloads on different size databases.
Sure I can think of others, but hopefully these will get you started...
Edit: Yep...thought of another useful resource...

There's also the distributed replay tool that came out with SQL SErver 2012. That's worth checking out.
