Hi
I need to find a tool that will allow audit of DML changes made to a SQL Server. This is to allow tracking of data changes (who did what to what when), and not to comply with any legal requirements.
Can anyone suggest a tool? I've looked at Ideras SQL Compliance manager - there must be other tools.
I don't want to start writing my own triggers...

Did you check ApexSQL Audit ?
If you have full recovery model enabled, there are also log-analysers on the marked. e.g. Red Gate Log rescue (btw free for sql2000)
