At one time I set the SQL Server VSS Writer service Log On permissions to a service account then decided NOT to use this service account for anything. No I cannot change the Log On permissions on the service back to Local System Account. The entire Log On tab is grayed out. I have read NOW that the account must run as local system account so yes, I was not smart enough to read about that before I changed it. But what I need help on is changing it back!! Please
