SQL Server Trans Replication- Pull subscription without having access to Publisher

    Hello

    We want to do a setup where the subscriber only has access to the distributor and not publisher. We are setting up a pull subscription. Is this possible?
    wWhen the distribution agent runs, its trying to connect to the publisher. Can we circumvent this step somehow?

    Hi,

    As far I know distribution agent ONLY accessing distributor and distribution db. Only logreader and snapshot agents are accessing publisher. Unless you setup local distribution then distribution agent will be accessing publisher/distributor. Setup replication with remote distributor.

    I was able to resolve this using anonymous subscription.
