Would the authors like to make available some pages of the SQLserver Standard on this forum? So whoever is interested can assess before subscribing for a year?

Giving the trend towards electronic publications these days, was there any thought to publish SQLserver Standard electronically? Would allow you to distribute internationally without having to iron any logistical problems re: shipping, etc...
Hope this helps

Electronics were thought of, but economics plays a part in this as well. We may still do a pdf publish, but no promises.

I like to support this!!!
Maybe something like SQL Server Mag. Those articles are also available online.
Remember, it took some 6 weeks to deliver 'The Best...' to Germany or South Africa. Not much up-to-dateness for a monthly ?!? magazine.

That was shipping "surface". I think if we go air mail it will be 2 weeks or so. Of course, that changes the price a little. How much not nailed down yet either.

Don't know if this applies for magazines, but for books I buy in the US I have to pay custom. IIRC, some 5 percent.
