We are having an issue with our SQL Server and that is when we logon to the server on the domain SQL Server is really slow, including all of the jobs and DTS's. Yet when we log on to the computer/box and not the domain SQL server runs great and jobs and DTS's are not slow.
We've tried all sorts of tests, SQL Profiler etc. but no errors appear. Could our issue be a domain issue? If so, any ideas on how to fix it?
I posted here because SQL server is fine when logged onto the box but when we logon to the domain it slows down. So I figured it had to be a networking issue of some sort. i checked in event viewer and i get no errors.

I'm not completely clear here. When you say logon, do you mean connect to SQL Server or log on to the physical console of the server?
If you mean when the SQL Server Windows host is connected to the domain it is slow, then it's probably some domain issue, like maybe it's connecting to a remote DC for authentication.
If you mean Windows authenticated logon v SQL Server authenticated login, probably the same thing.
If you mean that you log onto the console and it runs quickly, but slowly from remote clients, not sure.

what i mean is that when i login in to the actual box where sql server resides , if i use loging using the domain then everything is extremely slow. but if i login in the same box where it says Log on to: i choose the computer name. then then everything is fast.. also something that i forgot to mention: a week ago we changed the name of the dns server. i recreated the login accounts and changed owners of the dts. it was running ok for a while but after a few days sql server starting slowing down more and more each day... i really hope you have some advice for me... i searched everywhere....
