Hi Friends,
We are going to be upgrade SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM to SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 + CU3 on 3 servers and these 3 servers are participated in mirroring session....
Please guide me,How can i proceed this activity with getting into high risks.

That link is pretty descriptive!!
As the KB says, a rolling upgrade involves upgrading the current mirror, then failing over the databases and upgrading the new mirror (which was previously the principal). Read the article a few times and you should be good to go.

Is it ok to upgrade mirror server when the databases are in restoring state.
Why do i need failing over the databases ?
Is this the right approach if i follow link this
1. I will start upgarding on mirror server (here dbs are in restoring state)
2. I will not do any failover
3. Start upgrading Principal server
