I developed a report using reporting services 2005, now I am trying to see how I can get to the reporting services portal. We just installed SQL server 2005 on this server. What do I do to create the reports URL? I tried inside the server to open \\localhost\reports, it errored out. Please let me know what I need to do
to browse the reporting services URL, so that I can upload the report which I just created.
Thanks!!

You need to walk through the reporting services configuratoin wizard. That will walk you through the "site" configuration and set up the appropriate app pools and security as defined as default. Once that is complete you should be able to browse to that site and see the basic reporting services shell.
You would publish to the \\servername\reportserver
Try walking through the wizard and reply with errors or problems after that. Thanks.
