Dear all,
we are planing to updated some application which runs on dos based system to a windows based system. and planing to use as sql 2008R2 express edition as the back end.
current situation will be having 5-10 user's per installation maximum will be 10 hence we shall not planing to go for a corporate solution or work group solution to manage the database.
proposed system should have a disaster recovery system. in percent we are taking file backups since its using fox pro database files.
is there a way to (mirror or ship the transaction logs or replication ) over come this ??
Thanks in Advance.

With only SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition you can't really implement any of the H/A scenarios. See Compare Edition Features article for H/A scenarios that EEdition can be used.
