Hi,
In my SSMS appears a button named validate database. But the button is alway grey (can not use it). What does this button do and when can i use it?

No, i see this button in the SQL Server Management Studio (relational databases).
Don't have analisys services installed on my box

Are print screen would be nice. Have you installed the BIDS help tools?
