SQL Server Management Studio crash

    Hi all. Something happened to my SQL Express management studio. When i try to open it it crashes. I installed SQL Management studio again and it still crashes.

    I do not remember quite well, but i think i have installed some JAVA 4.1.2 before or a .NET framework. Could it be because of this ?

    IF yes, what is the solution ? I am not thriled about the idea of installing the whole system again.

    I am not sure the two are related the question is why do you need the .NET framework installed? The reason is SQL Server 2005 require .NET 2.0 framework which was installed back in 2005 in most XP boxes. However it maybe related to JDBC because if you are using JDK then you need JDBC to connect to SQL Server.
