Hi there,
I am subscribed to SQL Server Mag.
I'm not a frequent use of its online facilities and each time I go online I forget my Contact ID which I need to log in. I asked their support to help but to no avail.
I don't want to wait until the next issue is released, so maybe someone else out there can help me.
In the November 2003 issue there where three articles on Yukon:
- Yukon Territory, p.19
- Get ready for the CLR, p.22
- Yukon T-SQLp. 27
Can someone please download these articles for offline reading and sent them to me?
Thanks in advance

Hey, I guess SQL Server Mag support is also following this forum.
Suddenly I got a response.
Case closed.

Amazing what a little public scrutiny will do.

All in all it is not very smart to require an entry code that is published once a month on the by-pack paper ?!?. IMHO.
Maybe I would use their site more often when their log on procedure was less complicated.
..but maybe that is just me

I subscribed when I realized that I could benefit more from a magazin about SQL Server than from one about VBA programming.
But after one year of subscription (with a handful of online visits) I think SQL Server Mag doesn't meet my requirements.

It's a good magazine. I used to buy each issue (and I have stacks of them at home), but I realized that I didn't refer back to the articles very often.
That's the problem - the articles were interesting, but not necessary for everyday work. There is better information on the web.

Although my company pays the subscription it is good entrepreneurial thinking to question any cost. And I doubt that I will renew subscription.
Maybe I missed this information but are distribution channels of the SQL Server Standard Magazine to Germany available at a reasonable price?
