Hi all
I am DBA ,But I did not have experiance in purchasing softwares.
I have both 64 bit and 32 bit instllation (Cluster and Standalone)
If I buy SQL Server 2008 Enterprise edition will have both 64bit and 32 bit editions? If not
If want buy SQL Server 2008 Enterprise edition for both 64 bit and 32 bit ...
what i have ask my company to buy..
Please guide me regarding

You don't buy a license for x64 or x86 - you buy licenses by CAL or by processor. If you purchase processor licenses, then you can install as many instances on that machine that the version you purchase supports.
If the machine is x64 - you install the x64 version. If the machine is x86 then you install the x86 version.
If you need to machines to have SQL Server - then you purchase licenses for both machines, and install on each machine the appropriate version.

If the machine is x64 - you install the x64 version. If the machine is x86 then you install the x86 version.
furthermore the installer will detect your platform type and launch the appropriate installation
