SQL server (instances registration)

  • Hi ,

When i was on SQL Server 2000 each time that i register an instance and close the Enterprise manager, when i open again the EM, that instance was registered and i could start using it (see tables , views....)

In SQL Server 2005 every time that i open Management studio, i have to connect to all my instances again.

How can i register my instances and then when i open MS then instances are allready connect as it was in SQL server 2000

    thank you,

    Pedro

  • Press ALT+CTRL+G or click view >> registered servers .

It will show you the list of registered servers and you can add more .
