sql server instance missing in sql server config mgr

    I just installed sql server 2019 developer. This is the error when I try to connect to the database engine in SSMS.

    A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: -1)

    When I open the sql server configuration manager under sql server 2019 the 2019 instance isn't listed under sql server network configuration. Only the 2017 instances are listed.

    I reinstalled it to resolve.
