I do apologize for my confusion but the final setup according to business is one WSFC spanning 2 locations using the OS as 2012 R2 and sql server 2016 EE. With one node on each using AGs.
My last question is if you group nodes into AGs right; then the 2 nodes in different locations would Be part of the same AG.
hence no matter how many nodes you add it'll be placed in one AG hence if that AG goes down then the whole system is down in both locations. Right?
