SQL Server functions locationm in sql engine

    Hi Experts,

    Simple question but not getting answer:-

    What is the exact location of serverproperty and serverpropertyex functions in sql server 2008?I need to restrict rights on these function but I am not able to trace them in my engine.

    But i wonder if we can restrict access to system functions. Am so weak in Administration of SQL Server, so sorry, i cant help you!

    these will be available in individual user database and the user get the permission on these function as part of 'public' member of database.
