  Has anyone had experience with using SQL Server Express on an Intel Apple computer?

  I'm in the process of designing an application for a friend's company and I'm currently stuck using Access but would like to utilize SQL Server (since I use SQL Server 2000 8+ hours per day!). At home I have 3 Macs but no PCs and would prefer not to purchase a computer to help out a friend.

  You need more memory and virtual PC which I am thinking will bring your price tag to about the same level as used baseline PC that you can use to run Express.  Hope this helps.

  Since you have an Intel MAC try running Windows Natively using Boot Camp.
