SQL server Error log in GBs not able to reclycle

    Hi,

    The SQL server error log has grown to 3 GB. not able to recycle using  SP_cycle_errorlog command.

    Is there any limit on the size of error log file to which this command works to recycle log?

    Any help is appreciated.

    try using DBCC errorlog or restart MSSQL Server services.To limit the size of error log ,continously monitor the growth of error log file or limit the size of the error log file using windows server configuration.fyi the error log file will be located in sqlservr -e path
