SQL Server Error Log Empty

  • I just looked at one of our testing servers that we've been using and noticed that all of the Server Log files are empty. Is there any setting that needs to be turned on for SQL Server to log errors or information? I've never seen this before. All of our other servers are fine.

This server runs a job every night, so it should have something in it..

    Regards, Jim C

  • Are you referring to the 'errorlog' and 'sqlagent.out' files ?
