Cannot start SQL server service.
Tried command line sqlservr.exe -f -T3608
Get error message saying:
for file number 2. OS error 2:(the system cannot find the file specified.)
Unable to open the physical file c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\mastlog.ldf -f for file number 2. OS error: 2(The system cannot find the file specified.)
mastlog.ldf, however, is in the c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\ directory!
Help please.

Did you checked the physical location?

Also check the server startup in configuration manager

Resolved. I had mistakenly put the '-f' in the startup configuration setting.
Not sure why it failed in the first place but up and running now.
Thanks!
