SQL Server enterprise manager not opening

  I am using SQL server 2000. Though, all the components of the sql server seem to work fine, but when I open the enterprise manager, it shows an "invalid attribute/option identifier" error. I have tried installing the latest MDAC (2.8) on the system, but the problem still persist.

  Have you tried uninstalling and than reinstalling the client components tools of sql server?
