USA only please. Other countries vary too widely. Even within the USA there are variations based on cost of living.
Please select an answer than includes the TOTAL of your base salary plus what you expect any bonus might be plus any expected 401k match or stock grants.
Try to roughly estimate the total compensation you receive each year.

Yes. USA only please.
The salary surveys from Robert Half and others often don't give a good SQL Server only estimate. They often mix SQL Server, Oracle and DB2.
Then give a modifier based on other skills.
A Salary Survey here on SQL Server Central will most likely be just SQL Server based compensation without the mixture of Oracle or DB2 into it.
It is useful info for everyone to have.
It might be interesting to have a topic like this each year to track survey results over time.

Since there seems to be a lack of replies I might as well supply my opinion... I'm not willing to share my salary, even in a generic vote. Besides, it changes too often depending on the contract I'm on.
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.

http://www.salary.com already has this data, plus a LOT more info. I haven't had trouble getting just SQL Server DBA data from it for the regions I've looked up.
Please always keep in mind that salary (or total compensation) doesn't really matter. What matters most, on a day-by-day or month-by-month basis, is take-home-pay vs cost-of-living.
Last time I was job hunting, I had a chance to get an additional $15k/year from one employer over the one I ended up picking. Why pick the lower one? Because when I factored in local and state taxes (reduced actual income) and local cost-of-living (from US Census Bureau), the lower one was actually higher in terms of actual buying power. Total after-tax income might be okay instead of take-home-pay, since expenses coming out of that (401k, insurance) would otherwise come out of pocket.
And, no, I'm not willing to post the actual amount I make on this forum. Would violate HR rules where I work. Not a smart idea, since I really like my job.

Votes are anonymous. Nobody is suggesting that you make a posting here with your name attached.
You can answer the poll without writing anything that has your name attached.
If this were a potential HR issue then every salary survey out there would be an employment risk, which is not the case.

There's likely going to be a huge difference between consultants and FTEs and the Poll makes no differentiation.
