· Requirements Gathering/Facilitation
· DTS Package Creation
· SQL/Transact SQL Programming
· Data Warehouse Concepts (Modeling and OLAP Cubes)
· SQL Server Analysis Services
· Erwin 4.0 Data Modeling Tool
· Windows 2000 Advanced Server/Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition
Duties:
· Lead the effort to meet with business partners, gather and document requirements.
· Lead the development team in database design in order to translate business requirements into an effective and efficient data model/architecture.
· Express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
· Create and load OLAP cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (if necessary).
· Create DTS packages to migrate existing data into new data structures.
· Perform database development activities such as coding stored procedures, triggers, and operating system scripts.
· Perform database administration activities such as performance monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning and query optimization.
· Assist in the configuration of database server hardware to optimize performance.
· Work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
