Hi all,
Preparing to do an intro to the life of a SQL Server DBA for a very junior level audience. I've done training prior, but more so geared towards developers or skill-sets that are more advanced. I have a group of interns that have no prior technical background that I'm having a hard time scaling back on the content delivered.
Anyway, before I re-invent the wheel here, was curious to if any of you may already have something that I could leverage to start from or have any online recommendations. The more I hunt, the more I'm finding sites that want to charge for the content.
If you have anything you could share, it would be most helpful.
Thanks!

This might probably won't help if you want something free, but the manga guide to databases explains databases in a great way for non-technical people and you could get ideas from there. The book is not expensive so you might want to try it.
Other than that, you have plenty of resources on this site, such as Stairways, books and videos. I'm not sure what would you want to cover on this training.

You could see if Brent Ozar has anything that is licensed for general use. (I don't mean rip off his stuff, but he shares a lot of really good resources so it would be worth a look.)

My favorite "prop" for a true introductory class is a yellow pages telephone book. It even has a kind of B-Tree index in it.
