Hello everyone
This is a new issue that I bumped into today on a 2005 box. The services of SQL Server and its agent are running perfectly from services.msc but can't be seen from configuration manager.
Any ideas how I can solve this?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, but the local management studio failed to expand the "object explorer" for this instance.
However, I can still see the geen arrow of the instance name and am able to manipulate the sql service if i want.

BTW, the Windows Management Instrumentation service is also running fine in the services mmc.

Or another question, is it possible to use another configuration manager to connet to this server?
