HI. I was wondering if anybody could recommend some SQL SERVER conferences/conventions/classes that are worth attending. I went to my first TECH ED last year in NEW ORLEANS and I just wanted to see if there is something else that focuses strictly on SQL SERVER and it's many areas. I may only be able to attend one event and I want to make it worth my while.
Thanks,
Juanita

I'd vote for PASS. I've been to the last two and its very focused content, something for all levels.

HI Andy,
Would you have a website that I could go to for information on PASS?
Thank you so much!

Does anyone have any information on when PASS will be this year (and how much it costs)? I have to put in any requests for training/conferences pretty soon. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I went to the PASS website and see that there was a PASS COMMUNITY SUMMIT in Seattle and then there was the PASS NORTH AMERICA that was held in Denver. What is the difference between the 2 and is there always 2 events each year in the United States? Sorry for all the questions but I want to be prepared with all the info I need when I request the money. OH, do you have to be a PASS member to attend?
Thanks,
Juanita

They actually ended up having two events last year, one rolled over from the year before. The Community Summit is the one you want, planned for sometime in November in Seattle this year again. Yes, you have to be a member, but if not it just gets included in your conference registration.
Andy J - nice job on posting the link, you'd think I would have thought of that!
