  Hi,

  Iam installing sql server 2005 in an active/passive cluster setup. The installation is failing and giving the below error message.

  Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup

  An installation package for the product SQLXML4 cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package 'sqlxml4.msi'

  sqlxml4.msi is installed succesfully on node 1 but failing on node 2.

  please advice...

  Hi,

  I resolved the issue as below:

  1.Uninstall SQL server 2005 from node1.

  2.Uninstall SQLXML4 from node1 and node2(if you do not uninstall sqlxml4 from both the nodes, the installation will fail)

  3.reboot both the nodes

  4.Install sql server..every thing went well
