Could not start the network library because of an internal error in the network library. To determine the cause, review the errors immediately preceding this one in the error log.

"SQL Server Analysis Services 2005 evaluation period has expired"
Looks like your evaluation copy has expired.
I'm getting the same exception, but not due to this issue (the statement "evaluation period has expired") is not in the log.
I read a suggestion regarding setting Locale to "en-US" & iCountry to "United States" in the registry.
This proved fruitless.
Anyone else with a similar problem?

This is generic error in SSAS 2005 saying evaluation has expired. This is fixed in SSAS 2008.
