sql server agent not visible after installation?

  Hi,

  I can't see sql server agent node. Initially I installed sql server express edition on windows xp sp3. Then I upgrade edition to developer with product key, but after that I did not get sql server agent. what could be a problem? Please help me with all steps which needs to be followed to have sql server agent.

  Three Options:

  Reboot the Server. It will restart all the services in proper sequence.

  OR

  Check your privileges. You might not have sufficient privileges to see SQL Server Agent.

  OR

  Last Resort... Uninstall SQL Server & Fresh Install it with DEV license.
