I installed SQL Server 2008R2 standard edition (spanish) in node A on cluster server. After installing SQL Server in Node A, SQL Server agent is not visible in services.msc. But it is visible in configuration manager. I am unable to start the agent through configuration manager and ssms
Because of this i am unable to add fail over in Node B. SQL Agent is Grayed out, unable to enter Service Account password. Any suggestion to fix this issue.

The only time I've seen that is when the installation had errors - did you check for installation errors in the Setup bootstrap\log directory?
I only remember uninstalling and reinstalling..can't remember specifics of the issue though. I would think uninstall, reinstall would still be an option.
