I am recieving a unique error when trying to process a cube through a job step. The SQLAGENT.OUT File reports an error:
Step 1 of job 'CFMS Star - Analysis Cube' (0x82D61E33ECFE7B41A37830A738785DB6) has caused an exception in the ANALYSISCOMMAND subsystem and has been terminated. Then Acutal Error from the job is : An exception (0xe0434f4d) occurred in the ANALYSISCOMMAND subsystem. The step failed.
Has anyone encountered this error while trying to schedule a job to process a cube, if so what was the resolution.

No Immediate solution found as yet, the overall conclusion is that intergration services needs to be installed and then unistalled on the server where the problem exsists, so that registry values can be updated. I have yet to try this solution since the problem is occurring on a production server.

Thanks Anthony for the reply. Actually we are running sql in a clustered environment, failing back to the first node solved the issue for now. You are right, probably some entries are missing on second node which was causing the problem.

I too experienced this problem yesterday. The fix was to install SP3 CU4. I guess this may have been fixed in an earlier CU but I installed CU4 and that fixed it.
