SQL Server Agent Accounts

    Having recently changed the accounts my SQL Server 2000 Service services are running (now using dedicated AD accounts), can someone confirm the relevant permissions needed to run these?

    I know the AD account only needs to be a member of the local Administrators group on the server if I want to utilise the Auto Restart features of the services. However, I seem to read conflicting ideas as to whether the AD account needs to have a valid SQL Login, be a member of SQL Server SysAdmin server role etc..

    Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
