Can SQL server 7 be installed on Windows 2000?
If it can do you have documentation proving this?

Do you mean Windows 2000 Professional or Server? My understanding is that it can't run on 2000 Professional.

amackay_1 is correct. If you need to install SQL server on Win2k Professional, use the Personal Edition. It's on the 2nd CD.
