MDAC 2.6 SP1, no changes that I am aware of.

You may reinstall the same version of MDAC to see what is going to happen.

It does sounds like dll version mismatch. I think reinstalling MDAC is worth to shot also looks like you have Service Pack 3 so might want to apply Service Pack 4 as well.
Please backup first before you do anything

Thank you so much for all of your help. The problem has been resolved. iloveSQL put me on the right track by having me run sqlagent.exe -c -v from the command line. This showed me that I had a problem with ODBC then, Allen Cui pointed me in the right direction with the question about MDAC. I think This was caused by Microsoft outlook being canceled during an install. How this corrupted the odbc, I don't know. I installed a mdac version checker on my server. Found the version that was installed. Reinstalled the MDAC version, reinstalled Microsoft Outlook express and it SOLVED my problem. My sql server agent is now working great. Again, thank you for all of your help. This has been a great forum!!!!

I would also like to thank everyone as I also had this problem today. This fixed the issue.
