Hi,
I cannot see any drives local or EFS mount paths from SSMS especially when I try to restore a database.
I get same error with EFS drive path.
I have added the account that is set for the SQL Server process in SQL Server Configuration manager to "Administrators" group but still same error.
Thanks,
Kalyan

I am confused. You say you are using EFS which I would expect to be used by Linix but you then mention C: which would be used by Windows. I have never setup an EC2 instance but my understanding is it would use EFx for Windows.

Hi
Sorry, for the confusion we are using FSx for Windows for SQL Server on EC2.
So, I wanted to restore a database using .bak file. I copied the backup file to FSx path and opened SSMS used the restore database. In the browse for backup file pop-up window I see below:
I tried copy pasting the path and get below error:
TITLE: Locate Backup File - XXXXX
------------------------------
<FSxpath>\backup
Cannot access the specified path or file on the server. Verify that you have the necessary security privileges and that the path or file exists.
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
OK
------------------------------
I tried copying the file to local root C Drive still same error.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Kalyan
