  I installed a developer edition of SQL server 2017 on redhat linux Virtual box hosted by windows 10.

  I cannot remote to connect to it.
  I think one of the reason is the developer edition by default is not enabled for tcp/ip network client connection.

  How can I enable that in linux?

  Looks like you can set how SQL listens on TCP/IP using mssql-conf.
