SQL Server 2017 CU5 update

    SQL Server 2017 CU5 has been applied. (14.0.3023.8)

    Database is correct but Analysis Services reports its version number as 14.0.204.1. This seems wrong.  

    Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services 64 Bit Enterprise (x64) RTM 14.0.204.1

    Reapplying the CU says that it is already fully installed but 14.0.204.1 does not seem to apply to any released build of SQL Server 2017.

    Anyone seen this?

    First though would be that neither of the two patches for SSAS in the CU5 were applicable to your installation, hence nothing changed there.
