TDE is Enterprise only: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993.aspx
Can I get my point for answering correctly?

Yeah, I think the initial note I got a couple weekw said that TDE would be included, but I realized this week it wasn't. Forgot to correct things.
Fixed and points awarded back.

Adding all these features to Standard Edition is great.
But having these new features like encryption, data masking, and compression in Express Edition also presents some interesting opportunities. We have SQL Server Express Edition installed at 2000+ point of sale locations and currently rely on a 3rd party encryption library (CLR functions) that can be problematic to code and support.

Steve,
Thanks for the question and the great site.
We're not on 2016 yet but it was/is exciting when they announced these features being added to Standard Edition.
As for the current state of the question...
Which of these features cannot be used in SQL Server 2016 SP1+ Standard Edition?
When you select Transparent Data Encryption you get it wrong, even though this is the only feature in the answers that cannot be used in Standard.

I misread the answer "Only RLS, DDM, and Always Encrypted" as "Only RLS, DDM, and Always Encrypted are available on SQL Server 2016 SP1 + Standard Edition". Got it wrong but learned something anyway. Thanks for the question Steve.

Got it wrong but I'm pleased to only pay big prices on big servers. Too late for me though I'm already committed to a EE production install on friday. Next time I'll be looking at what I really need to pay for.

Yesterday's Question (by Steve Jones):
Which of these features cannot be used in SQL Server 2016 SP1+ Standard Edition?
Answer: All can be used
Explanation:
With the changes in SQL Server 2016 SP1, the programming surface area between editions has been leveled. All of these features can be used in Standard Edition. In SQL Server 2016 RTM, only RLS and DDM were allowed.

I recalled reading TDE was in. Either the article was wrong, MS changed their minds or I recalled incorrectly. Never mind. I know now!!!

So the answer: All can be used is wrong?

So the answer: All can be used is wrong?
Yes. TDE is not as per this discussion thread. There are links to MS pages that confirm this.
