Hi all,
Problem help please, I have 2 servers in sql server 2016 and i have started seeding databases to the DR server within the GUI of AOG which is FCI problem is that one of my dbs which is 2 TB with take 1 month to finish. I need to stop this and continue with manual restore on the DR.
Do you know what is the correct set of steps to stop seeding without affecting the original database?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi zouzou,
If I were in this situation and wanted to stop the replication, I would just stop SQL Server on the secondary. Once the restore process is broken I've not found it to not restart on its own without the seeding being reset.
One thing you may try before you do a manual backup and copy is to turn on the compression TraceFlag 9567 which should reduce your time considerably.
Hope this helps!
