Hi All, It might be wrong category to ask this question. But Since it's for SQL 2014, I want to know about the certifications related to this version. I'm currently looking to do cetification in Business Studio 2014 but the not able to get the sequence in which it has to be done (even from the MS site). Can anyone please give a simple clarification on this ?

There aren't any SQL 2014 exams. They updated the MCSE-level 2012 ones.

Thanks Gail. So any of these four exams can be given in any sequence (as per your choice ofcourse) ?
Additionally these four exams (464-467) cover both SQL 2012 & 2014 but exams 461-463 cover only SQL 2012 ? Is there any further level of certification once any of these or all are completed ?

Those 4 exams are for two different certifications, so which you take depends on which certification you want.
There's no higher certification level than the MCSE.

SQL 2012 MCSA
70-461,70-462,70-463
SQL MCSE Data Platform
MCSA + 70-465,70-466
SQL MCSE Business Intelligence
MCSA + 70-466,70-467
MCSE is stated to be version independent (according to video in link below from boB Taylor, but it expires every few years and requires upgrade exams to maintain.
You need a broader knowledge including on features in previous supported versions that may not be supported in latest versions.
The intro on this slide gives some detail on the exams for MCSA and MCSE in the first couple of minutes, well worth a watch for anyone considering taking on the exams. He also did a 461 prep session at the same Tech Ed.

Hope this helps.
