Hi everyone, I hope I can find some help on my Sql Server 2012 Evaluation(x86).While installing I am getting this error.

Is .NET 3.5 SP1 installed/enabled?

Re boot the box , try installing from command prompt

The error nessage Could not find the Database Engine startup handle. usually means that Setup could not connect to the Database Engine, which it expects to be running at this point.
Check the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\LOG. There should be one or more ERRORLOG files. They might give a clue.
