Hello -
Just acquired a copy of SQL Server 2012 Developers Edition, and I am wanting to install it with Windows 8 (do not have Windows 8 as of yet, and I'm not sure if I am going to just wait until the end of the month for the Ultimate Edition or go with Professional now).
I do not have a specific issue right now, but I am curious to hear of your experiences with install 2012 to a Windows 8 box, of any Edition, and if you have a lot of problems, or if it went smoothly. I have searched here and other places on the Internet, but have not come across many concrete discussions on this yet.
Many thanks...

I have installed SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012, which shares some simularities with Windows 8 and I haven't encountered any problems.
You just need to check for prerequisites, such as the .NET framework.
Need an answer? No, you need a question
