SQL Server 2012 Build List

  • did SP3 bread replication to SQL 2005 servers for anyone else? we set up a new distributor with SP3 and when we tried to migrate replication to/from SQL 2005 didn't work

  • break?

Not that I've heard of. However this is the 2012 forum. Do you mean you have a 2012 SP3 distributor taking replication from (or to) SQL 2005?

    Yes

SQL 2012 SP3 distributor with SQL 2005 publishers and subscribers. Publishers work fine, but delivering snapshot to subscribers fails with an error about not supporting some variables. forgot the exact error

  • Steve:  Just a quick question.

Our sql server build is 11.0.6251,  A vendor requested we apply 2 hotfixes.  The builds are 11.0.3321 and 11.0.2332.
I believe they are included in our current build.    True?

I don't see those numbers, so perhaps I'm missing some QFE/GDR fixes in the list. However, anything that's 11.0.6xxx is SP3+, which should have all fixes from those 11.0.3xx builds (SP1). If it were SP2, there's a chance that the fixes aren't included, but everything from SP1 should be in the SP3 branch.

  • SP4 should be 11.0.7001, not 11.7001.0 (two places)...

  • Good catch. updated.

  • Security advisory (Meltdown Spectre) - KB4057116 - build 11.0.7462.6

  • Only caught it because I was looking for that exact version...
