Hi all,
I have a client Huge client) that wants to migrate it's apps from SQL 2005. He asked me if it is better to migrate to SQL2008 or to 2010.
I think that because the apps doing fine, he doesn't need it, but he wants to, he says that he wants to upgrate.
What would you do? Upgrade the engine to 2010 or to 2008?
Thanks for the advice.

Is sql denali available for production?
Denali has not been released, currently it's at CTP 3 and only TAP customers are permitted to use it in production.

What's he reason for requesting the upgrade. Aside from 2005 being out of support, only new features should require this...
Maybe compression?
