Please, can someone beam some light on:
a) how to price SQL SERVER 2012 web edition. What will it cost to purchase it?
i) Is there a way one can license it for 5000 users?
b) Is there any company out there still selling SQL SERVER 2008 R2 Web Edition?
c) In constructing a website, what is an alternative to SQL SERVER 2008 R2 Web Edition/2012?
Looking forward to your suggestions
Thank you.

These are all questions best discussed with your Microsoft Rep.

I second Jasons' recommendation. You would be best served by talking your requirements through with a Microsoft Rep.
