I have moved DTS package from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008.
SQL Server 2008 SSMS is crashing when I open the DTS package..
I have installed sql server 2005 backward compatibility feature SQLServer2005_BC_x64 after sql server 2008 installation.
Please advise.

Can you explain what you mean by crashing?
Are you getting an error message?
Is the package not working?
Is SSMS just closing when you try to run the package?

Are you trying to RUN the package or OPEN it? You should be opening it with Business Intelegence Development Studio.

When I goto DTS package and right click and open, then SSMS is crashing in sql server 2008.
