  Hello all -

  I am trying to run the repair kit for 2008 as there are some funky things going on during my testing and I want to run the repair tool as I think SQL Server 2008 is the culprit. When trying to run the repair tool, it prompts me for "Browse for SQL Server 2008 installation Media"

  I'm trying every subdirectory it seems in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\ directory but it invariably gives me the reply "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\.... is not a valid installation folder".

  Any idea which directory I should be using in order to successfully run the repair kit?

  This will need to be the cd\dvd you installed from.

  Or if you copied the entire contents to a directory you can use that.
